Inspirational People - Inspirational Stories

Inspirational People - Inspirational Stories

Wanted to share this email from a chiropractor friend of my wife. He was a marathon runner when he experienced this traumatic injury. He has been struggling for years and now is going to run in a Triathlon. He is truly an inspiration and as he wrote on his FB page "Four years ago I would never had imagined my life would be like this. So be grateful for what you have. Take pleasure in the things you have. Because tomorrow it could be taken away."
Please support his run. Thanks

Hi there!  I hope this email finds you well.  The reason I am writing this email is because I need some help.  As many of you know I suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) in Nov. 08.  It's kinda like a stroke.  Up to now it's been a long road of physical therapy.  It is slowly paying off.  For those of you that see me every once in a while you may think that the progress is great.  But to me it is very slow.  As many of you know I was very into competing in triathlons before my injury.  And this March I will be participating in the Pasadena Triathlon.  It will be the first time for me since the accident.  It's gonna be slow bit I am going to finish.  The run is going to be more of a walk.  With two people holding my arms so I don't fall it's gonna take us some time to finish the 3.1 mile "run".  The bike should be good.  I will be on a 3 wheel recumbent bike.  It's not going to be anything close to what I am used to but that's ok.  The swim is in the Pasadena Aquatic Center's pool.  The swim is going to take me some time but that's ok I will finish.  I am very exited for this opportunity.  It's going to be a fabulous day.

Now is where you come in.  I am fundraising for my triathlon and I can use your assistance.  Any donation, big or small will help.  So if you could please donate I would be much appreciative. Many thanks for reading this and for your donations. Here is the link to donate
